Bock Microphones

Here’s two quick videos regarding the BOCK Microphones you find on eBay Australia.  These are great mics, designed to pretty much the same specifications as the Shure Microphones.

Is YouTube keeping it fair for everyone on the Partner Program?

Here’s a quick Audio Blog of my Partner experience using YouTube in comparison with other channels.

This video is hosted by Blip.TV :)  I am still using YouTube, but I feel like it’s sometimes all my effort making videos, music and content is going to waste on there with the way their Partner program has been working for me lately.

Landgraff Dynamic Overdrive Pedal

Here we have Ric using the Landgraff Dynamic Overdrive Pedal with a VOX AC-15 and a Victoria Regal Amplifier.

Video #1 - Landgraff Dynamic Overdrive Pedal with a VOX AC-15

Video #2 - Landgraff Dynamic Overdrive Pedal with a Victoria Regal Amplifier

I think it really sings through the VOX and it really seems to suit the guitar and amplifier to my ear more than the Regal amp (just in this case)

Biyang X-Drive OD-8 Overdrive Pedal

The Biyang X-Drive OD-8 Overdrive Pedal is really something special!  For the price, the quality is really, really amazing!  It’s been my personal favorite overdrive pedal since I’ve been buying pedals.  This video explains more about it and how you can change out the circuits on the inside.  It’s a much better pedal than a typical Ibanez Tubescreamer, it’s more versatile and has many more options for tonal varieties.   As I said, for the price it’s amazing! :)

I purchased this from eBay Australia and have nothing but good things to say about it.  It’s pretty much the same pedal as the Baby BOOM pedal you will also see on ebay except the build quality of this one is much nicer and it’s been very reliable for me for over a year now.

Maton Acoustic Guitar EM-325C

Here’s a video review of a Maton EM-325C – This is an Australian made guitar and is considered one of Australia’s finest guitar manufactures.  They feature a really nice acoustic pickup system called an AP-5 which really sounds great plugged into any good PA system.  It can sound a little boxy recording directly from the Pickup, I am always more inclined to mic this guitar up when recording.

The 325 Series features the strength and clarity of Queensland Walnut back and sides. It’s solid construction and superb performance, combined with the AP5 pickup system, make it the natural choice for the working musician.

Even with the best-selling delays in compact-pedal history, BOSS continues to push the envelope and innovate. • Expanded delay time, up to 6.4 seconds
  • Modulation Delay mode offers natural, chorus-type sounds
  • Analog Delay mode models the classic warm BOSS DM-2 analog delay sound
  • Tap tempo controllable via external footswitch
  • Delay time, feedback, and effect level can be controlled via external Expression pedal (sold separately)
  • Up to 40 seconds of recording for sound on sound (Hold mode)

CNB Pedal Board / Pedal Case

Here’s my opinion on the Pedal Board by CNB.  These are a hard case design to carry your pedals and they come in various sizes.  I happen to own these two and here’s my honest review of this product.

G&L ASAT Classic Telecaster vs Fender Telecaster

Here we have the Fender 52 Reissue Telecaster and the G&L ASAT Classic.

G&L Guitars were pretty much an unknown for me up until about a year ago, I don’t see too many people playing them which is a shame because they are sooo nice!  If you get a chance to play one, do it.  The Fender 52 Telecaster has been my favorite guitar since I picked it up but the G&L is simply an amazing guitar which I’m starting to enjoy more and more.
